About Us
South Cedar Greenhouses has been growing since 1965. Since 1991, it has been owned and operated by the Leipnitz family. There are currently 3.5 acres of greenhouse space.
We are located 20 miles south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport on Cedar Avenue in Farmington, Minnesota. We're worth the trip! For more information about our hours, location, and how to reach us, please visit our Contact Us section.
Wholesale & Retail Services
Landscapers, designers, and garden centers can shop in the wholesale greenhouses. If you are a new customer and want to shop through our online ordering system, please call to create an account. All wholesale customers must check-in at the office before shopping. Customers must order online in full flat quantities when shopping wholesale.
South Cedar Garden Center is for retail customers. Whether you are looking for house plants, patio pots, hanging baskets, or other plants for your gardening needs, we have you covered. With our large selection of annuals and perennials, you will be surprised to find options not available in most garden centers. FREE SOIL will be available when retail is fully open when purchasing plants.
